John joined Wesfarmers Health in 2025 and brings with him extensive health sector experience, having previously worked for a global health care provider for around a decade.  

John started his career in investment banking at Macquarie, advising across a range of industries. He later joined GenesisCare, helping to grow the business into a global oncology and cardiology provider and leading the business development teams across Australia, the UK and Spain. Prior to starting with Wesfarmers Health, John was a General Manager, Business Development at Wesfarmers where he worked with a variety of Wesfarmers divisions on mergers and acquisitions, and broader strategic projects.   

To stay healthy, John is a passionate long-distance triathlete. He also enjoys plenty of time at the beach, playing sport with his kids and the occasional round of golf.
