Sam has over 30 years of human resources leadership experience which spans multiple industries, countries and cultures. She is passionate about driving growth through a holistic approach to people leadership with expertise in driving organisational culture and performance. 

Sam joined Wesfarmers Health in 2025, having been with Wesfarmers Group for a number of years. Most recently she was Executive General Manager, People & Safety for the Industrial and Safety Division. She was formerly HR Director of Wesfarmers Insurance and has held various executive roles at Eastman Chemical Company, General Electric, Commonwealth Bank, Gallagher and Deloitte – working throughout the UK, US and Asia.

Sam is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a board director of the Financial Executives Institute. She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, a Masters in Occupational Psychology and holds the International Coaching Certificate from INSEAD.

To stay healthy, Sam enjoys yoga, swimming and a personal training session when time permits.
